Tomáš Pojar

He studied political science at the Faculty of Social Studies of Charles University and Government with a specialization in Counter – Terrorism and Homeland Security at the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel. In 1995, he began to work for the NGO People in Need, which he led from 1997 to 2005. He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2005, where he served as Deputy Minister for Bilateral Relations and First Deputy Minister for Security and EU Affairs as well as Bilateral Relations with European States. He was Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the State of Israel from 2010 to 2014.
