Petr Třešňák
Graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. Here, at the Department of Power Engineering, he focused on renewable sources. From 2007, he worked at ČEZ a.s., first in the position of an investment preparation specialist at Temelín Nuclear Power Plant and then in the safety department for the construction of new nuclear sources. Here he participated in the creation of tender documentation, evaluation of the tender for the 3rd and 4th blocks of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant and collaborated in the preparation of licensing and permitting processes. From 2014 to 2018, he worked in municipal politics as a representative of the local government. From 2017 to 2021, he was a member of parliament elected for the Karlovy Vary region. In the years 2019 – 2021, he worked as a member of the government's Standing Committee on New Nuclear Build.
